Contribute Your Skills and Talents

Together to One is looking for volunteers of all ages who are eager to contribute their skills and talents to one of our projects. We are in particular need of creative learning methods for children ages 8 - 12 and older. Handicraft knowledge and art skills of any kind would be especially valuable.

As a volunteer, you will take part in all Together to One teaching classes. This means that you will learn about the Together to One method and smart group technology. If you stay long enough, you can even become a Together to One facilitator.

Please peruse the website for more information about our projects and our philosophy, and then get in touch with us.

What You Can Expect As A Volunteer
  • You will work 4 - 6 hours daily depending on the status of the project.
  • Accommodations are simple - you will share double rooms or dormitories.
  • You will take part in personal empowerment courses and learn to work and act resourcefully.
  • You will be part of a multi-cultural group, and come to know people from all over the world.
  • You will learn on the job through group processes by being part of a different culture.
  • You will be welcome to organize or partake in extra-curricular events. Sorry - there are no movie theaters, but there are stages available for live performances.
Please Be Aware

We are visitors to a foreign country. Therefore we should be aware of local customs, and know (for instance) the dress rules appropriate to the host culture.

Please be aware that you will need to organize both your flight to Tel Aviv and the return flight to your home country, and that you also will be required to pay for transportation to and from the airport.

During your stay in Jericho, Palestine, and Israel we ask you to please observe these simple rules of Together to One:

  • Together to One fights neither for nor against anything.
  • Together to One is politically neutral and has no religious affiliation.
Internship

Are you interested in doing an internship with Together to One? You can learn on the job what it means to create the future with our hands-on projects.

You could help by:

  • teaching children, young adults and adults in our Creative Learning Center
  • assisting in project organization and development
  • working as a business administrator or accountant
  • organising and facilitating actions and events
  • volunteering your time and particular talents

Just come, look around and take action!
What Can We Do Together?

Together to One is the initiator of an annual congress on future civic life. It takes place during the holiday seasons 2009 - 2012 in Jericho. If you would like to join this interesting project but can't afford a hotel room, it is possible to come as part of a work exchange program.

We need you from December 15th through January 5 of the new year.
Read more about the Future Congress here and then get in touch with us if you would like to be a volunteer.
